About our Drama Troupe
The Bhaktivedanta Players have been performing regularly
for the last twenty years at the Bhaktivedanta Manor Theatre. Their
productions are particularly appreciated by the Asian Hindu Community,
and they've recently achieved considerable acclaim touring throughout
Europe, Africa and the USA. With colourful costumes and special
effects, many of their works are traditional renderings of stories
from the Vedic scriptures. Others use mime and music to present
the timeless spiritual message of India in a way easily appreciated
by Westerners. The Players now provide half-day or whole-day workshops
for pupils of all ages - especially useful if you are staging festivals,
arts evenings or other events with a religious or multicultural
flavour.
